THIS YEAR'S EVENT HAD THE USUAL 10 TOP DEALERS FROM AROUND THE U.K.WHO WERE PLYING THEIR WEARS FROM 10am 'TILL 4:30PM.THERE WAS ALSO A MID- MORNING LECTURE FROM THE ONE AND ONLY WAYNE DOBSON, WHO ALSO KICK-STARTED THE EVENING PROGRAMME WITH A 1/2 HOUR CABARET SHOW. INTRODUCED TO OUR CONVENTION ONLY LAST YEAR, "THE WEST LANCS. STAGE MAGICIAN OF THE YEAR COMPETITION" IS FAST BECOMMING ONE OF THE MAIN ATTRACTIONS OF THE DAY WITH COMPETITORS TRAVELING FROM ALL REGIONS OF THE U.K. FOR THIS MUCH SORT-AFTER TITLE AND IT'S CASH PRIZES, as well as Trophies and a guaranteed £100 Booking for the winner at the Ace Magic CIrcle's X-mas party 2006! THIS YEAR'S EVENT SAW THE RETURN OF SOME FAMILIAR AND POPULAR FACES, AS WELL AS SOME NEW-COMMERS... IN ORDER OF APPEARANCE ON THE NIGHT WERE...

THANKS TO BOB ROMANOFF (LEFT) AND MICHAEL DIAMOND (RIGHT) FOR DOING A VERY UN-ENVIABLE TASK IN DECIDING THE OUTCOME! THANKS ALSO to the girls who provided FULL Bar and Caffeteria facilities from 10am to 11pm. Their tireless work was very much appreciated by all. They NEVER even stopped for a break! Whilst the judges counted up their scores, we were entertaind by one of the few remaining "Gentlemen" of magic,and a very special friend of the Ace Magic Circle... Guest Magician...
